The Challenge
Three problems needed simultaneous solving. Anti-fog inconsistency: condensation obscuring product visibility on refrigerated displays — fogging within 4–6 hours in tropical humidity. Cost pressure: packaging at 8.2% of COGS — above the 5–6% industry target. Lead time: custom print at 35+ days incompatible with seasonal promotional cycles.
Our Solution
Custom 2-piece PET dome + paperboard base cake boxes with anti-fog coating formulated for tropical humidity (85%+ RH). Custom printed paper sleeves (offset CMYK on 250 GSM art paper). Consolidated from 6 SKUs to 4 standardized sizes to increase per-SKU volume. Sea freight Qingdao to Port Klang: 8 days transit with just-in-time delivery.
